As Nina Simone sang, " It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life...for me. and I'm feeling good." This song plays over and over in my head and it's exactly how I'm feeling about the blogging world. Sure, I began blogging almost two years ago, and as I journeyed back to read some of them I admit there were some good blogs archived, but I just wasn't "feeling good". So with this new day, and this new day, I feel a new whole new blog coming on.
So, I'll begin by discussing a brief snippet of my recent trip back home....
The week before Labor Day weekend I took a short vacation up to my home town of Red River, NM where I was hired as a photographer for The Jewelry Lady. We ventured up to Bittercreek Guest Ranch and for the next three hours I snapped over 1200 pictures with the most glorious background.
It's days like this that I am ever so grateful for the talent and blessings that have been bestowed upon me through my photography. I thank the Lord above for this gift because it is only through him that I am able to do this.
Being a photographer releases my endorphins and I absolutely love, love, love capturing those little moments....one click at a time!
In the picture to the left, these lovely models are: Mandy, Brenda, Priscilla, and Paulette Kiker (owner of The Jewelry Lady). All four of these precious ladies were a blast to "shoot" and I look forward to working with them again in the future! Thank you again Paulette for hiring me as your photographer!
